Transitions Counseling and Consulting in Arizona seeks an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW to serve as Clinical Supervisor, guiding and developing a skilled clinical team. This role emphasizes mentorship, supervision hours tracking, and staff development to ensure high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Licensed at independent level as LPC, LMFT or LCSW by Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
• 1+ year of clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Arizona Supervisor Training preferred; if not complete, training to be completed within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, ensuring supervision hours and files meet policy.
• Address patient concerns and maintain high standards of care; participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support comprehensive treatment plans and positive outcomes.
• Attend designated office location regularly, with a hybrid option after 90 days.

Your Role:

• Mentorship and Supervision:
  • Directly supervise and mentor therapists, interns, and clinical support staff. This includes adhering to and tracking supervision policies, hours, and files to ensure compliance and development.
  • Address personnel issues, participate in the clinical interviewing and hiring process, and manage staff training and compliance needs.
• Client and Team Support:
  • Address patient concerns promptly and ensure the quality of care remains at the highest standard.
  • Participate in a rotating phone-based call schedule during hours-of-service delivery, along with other supervisory staff members—note that no overnight hours are required.
  • Provide direct client therapy through evidence-based treatment according to an agreed-upon schedule, ensuring that each client receives personalized and effective care.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other professionals, including therapists, interns, and clinical support staff, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Coordinate care with other professionals to support comprehensive treatment plans and positive outcomes.
• Location: This role requires regular in-person attendance at the designated office location in accordance with an agreed-upon work schedule at the time of hire. A hybrid schedule with 1-2 days remote can be considered after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must be licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners on an independent level as an LPC, LMFT or LCSW.
• One (1) year of clinical supervision experience in the behavioral health field preferred but not required.
• Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners Supervisor Training preferred but not required. If Arizona Supervisor training is not complete at the time of hire, training should be completed within 30 days of start date (sponsored by our team).
• Provide current level one fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable.
• Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification.
