Job summary

Required: High school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; CPI training within 1 month. CNA certification preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides and ensures basic needs are met for adult/geriatric/medical psychiatric patients.
• Assists with activities of daily living (ADL) and patient care tasks.
• Participates in therapeutic milieu activities under clinical staff guidance.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives on the unit.
• Adheres to patient privacy and safety standards (JCAHO).
• Performs other related duties as required.
