Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain CPI within first month.
• BLS certification required or obtained during onboarding.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and ensures physical needs are met for all patients by assisting with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Conducts and participates in therapeutic milieu activities under clinical staff guidelines.
• Participates as a team member to improve quality care standards for the unit.
• Complies with JCAHO National Patient Safety Goals.
• Adapts communication and approach to the patient population and respects privacy.
• Performs other related duties as required.
