Qualifications

• Knowledge of mental health and substance use fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess admission criteria and review clinical information from admission to discharge.
• Manage cases with care plans, collect clinical data, review documentation.
• Coordinate care and report on inpatient or outpatient services.
• Communicate with insurance providers and the treatment team on medical criteria.
• Conduct precertification with third party payers and negotiate admission days.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
