Unitek Learning seeks a Mental Health BSN Nursing Instructor to join the Workforce Development program in Visalia with Kaweah Health. The instructor will deliver lab and clinical education, manage student rotations, and ensure compliance with nursing education standards.

Qualified applicants hold a California BRN license, have nursing education experience, and possess a Master’s degree with relevant coursework. The role offers full-time hours with pay $55-$70/hr DOE and benefits.

Qualifications

• CA BRN license required.
• Eligible for BRN instructor approval for Medical-Surgical, OB, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Community Health, or Geriatrics.
• Master's degree includes nursing/education/administration coursework; prepared to teach.
• BSN with enrollment in Master's program may be considered for Clinical Teaching Assistant.
• Minimum four years' RN experience with clinical practice in last five years.
• One year of nursing education/teaching experience preferred.
• Expertise in Mental Health, Med-Surg, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, L&D, Community Health, or Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide lab and clinical site education to students.
• Plan and supervise student clinical experiences in health facilities.
• Evaluate student performance against clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate attendance and skill check-off records.
• Deliver feedback promptly after clinical observations.
• Ensure clinical assignments meet student and facility needs.
• Observe, instruct, and evaluate students effectively.
• Support online components to enhance course content.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in program committees.
