Job summary

Pembroke Hospital in Pembroke, MA is seeking a Mental Health Associate for a full-time role with weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) for premium pay. Base pay starts at $22.00/hr, with 40 or 32 hours per week, and shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

This is a value-driven position at a 120-bed behavioral health facility south of Boston. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide routine psychiatric care, maintain a safe environment, and support patient groups.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • College students pursuing a degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable judgment and professionalism.
  • Ability to remain composed in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Provide routine patient care in a psychiatric setting.
  • Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors.
  • Assist with patient groups and activities.
  • Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations after training.
  • Learn psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention techniques, and CPR.

This position requires working every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in exchange for a higher rate of pay. This is a full time position with the opportunity to work 40 or 32 hours per week. The base pay range starts at $22.00 per hour and is based off level of experience and education.

Pembroke Hospital

is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems.

The Mental Health Associate

This is a full time position with an opportunity to work on the day, evening, or overnight shift. We offer competitive shift differentials for the evening, night, and weekend shifts.

As a Mental Health Associate, You Will
