Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • College students pursuing behavioral health, psychology, or human services preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated.
  • Impeccable judgment and professionalism; able to remain composed in crises.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment

Responsibilities

The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible of maintaining the overall milieu management and safety of patient and staff in the unit and collaborating effectively with Unit Nurse Managers (UNMs), Registered Nurse (RNs) and Mental Health Associates (MHAs).

Position Summary:

Qualifications
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • College student who have obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, or human services are preferred
