Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking an RN/Nurse Manager to support clinical teams with delegated patient care tasks, safety, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu. The role emphasizes leadership in education, crisis response, and teamwork.

The position requires education in psychology or related fields and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with preferred experience in de-escalation and strong decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate and/or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Behavior or a related field.
• Minimum: One (1) year of relevant job-related experience.
• Preferred: One (1) year of direct, job-related experience. Proficient in de-escalation techniques. Decision-making skills. Patient teaching skills. Ability to work effectively during crises. Exercises good judgment. Takes initiative. Is dependable.

Acts as a supportive member of the team who performs delegated tasks within the scope of education and training in the areas of supportive listening, educational group leadership and specifically assigned patient care tasks, especially in the areas of physical intervention, safety, and maintenance of therapeutic milieu.
