Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Mental Health Associate to join a committed care team. You will assist with daily treatment activities, support group and psychoeducational sessions, and help ensure client safety in a CARF-accredited environment.

Role involves supervising activities, conducting routine documentation, and providing transportation support as needed. A Bachelor's degree and a valid driver’s license are required, with the ability to drive a company van.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and monitoring clients throughout the treatment day
• Assisting with group and psychoeducational sessions
• Supervising breaks, activities, transportation, and other program activities
• Supporting the team during behavioral health or crisis situations
• Assisting with urine screenings and related documentation
• Completing routine documentation, chart reviews, and clerical tasks
• Communicating client concerns and observations to the treatment team
• Building professional relationships while maintaining healthy boundaries
• Using trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches
• Participating in team meetings, training, quality improvement, and continuing education
• Providing transportation support when assigned
