Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is a provider of behavioral health services with outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment in California and Maryland. The Behavioral Health Technician role focuses on direct care, interacting with and supervising clients within treatment programs, and supporting individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Starting hourly rate is $15.00/hour prior to differentials, with a full-time benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and other rewards;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; CPR/AED/First Aid preferred.
• Prefer behavioral health or general healthcare experience.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
• Maintain client documentation
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
• Coordinate client activities
• Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
• Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses including crisis intervention
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
• Assist with the dietary needs of clients
• Complete all required trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Our Behavioral Health Technician serves as a direct care role with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Pyramid Healthcare in California, Maryland, offers outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) for men and women with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, co-occurring disorders, and problem gambling. We also provide psychiatric services for clients who require medication management! Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, we strive to customize our treatment plans based on the needs of each client through groups or individual sessions, collaborating as needed to create comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.
