Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is seeking an Admission Clinician to join the Admissions Team, supporting all aspects of intake processes and ensuring high-quality customer service in line with Universal Health Services standards.

The role requires a Master’s Degree with at least two years in counseling/behavioral health or a related field; LAPC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW/LMFT preferred, and LPNs/RNs encouraged to apply with valid licensure.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and at least two years or relatable experience in counseling or behavioral health (counseling, social work, sociology, clinical psychology) or relatable field with relevant intake/admissions experience.
• LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT preferred.
• LPNs and RNs encouraged to apply with valid licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining daily census records
• Entering all intake and admission data into a hospital computer database
• Handling intake calls and verifying insurance benefits
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources
• Reviewing clinicals for new patients, completing assessments, and processing walk in inquiries
