Job summary

Lighthouse Care Center in Augusta, GA, is seeking an Admission Clinician to join the Lighthouse Admissions Team. The role centers on intake processes and delivering high-quality customer service in line with Universal Health Services’ mission and regulatory requirements.

You will perform comprehensive assessments for individuals with mental illness or related challenges, enter data, verify benefits, and cultivate strong relationships with referral sources to facilitate smooth admissions.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree and at least two years of counseling or behavioral health (or relatable intake/admissions experience).
• LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW or LMFT preferred.
• LPNs and RNs encouraged to apply with valid licensure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily census records.
• Enter intake/admission data into hospital system.
• Handle intake calls and verify insurance benefits.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Review clinicals for new patients, complete assessments, and process walk-in inquiries.
