Inova Health System seeks a Mental Health Technician Coordinator for Inova Center for Personal Health in Northern Virginia. This full-time, administrative position covers three 12-hour shifts (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and is not patient-facing.

The role provides clerical support, scheduling, and communication of clinical changes, with benefits and a supportive work environment within a nationally recognized health system.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides administrative support by answering phones, transcribing orders and maintaining charts.
• Communicates abnormal values and clinical changes to appropriate staff within 15 minutes.
• Answers and screens telephone calls and refers to other staff as needed.
• Schedules appointments in automated scheduling system and handles mail and faxes.
• Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and home care skills.
