Job summary

Inova Health System is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician Coordinator for a PRN role with variable shifts in Virginia. The position supports day or night shifts and involves coordinating patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support by answering phones, transcribing orders and maintaining charts.
• Communicates abnormal values and clinical changes to the appropriate staff member within 15 minutes.
• Answers and screens telephone calls while providing information or referrals.
• Schedules appointments in the automated scheduling system; makes copies, sends/receives faxes and opens/distributes mail.
• Reinforces transition/discharge teaching and home care skills.

Minimum Qualifications
