Coral Shores Behavioral Hospital is an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Stuart, FL, providing inpatient treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Our professional staff individualizes care to fit the severity and needs of each patient and their family. Services are available 24/7 to address crises at any time of day or night.

Qualifications

• Job Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year in a healthcare setting and/or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must complete and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training (aggression management, crisis intervention, and restraint).
• Must pass competency exams within 90 days of hire.
• May require overtime and flexible hours, including every other weekend.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Physical Requirements

Efficient movement to meet patient needs and respond rapidly to aggression. Ability to sit, walk, hear, respond to signals, and recognize vocal cues. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, write legibly, read instructions, and complete documentation. Ability to restrain patients safely as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
