Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training is preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear is highly preferred.
• Strong technical sewing skills and proficiency with sewing equipment are required.
• Good knowledge of various sewing equipment and tools is expected.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
• Demonstrates a team attitude and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and interact with them to understand alterations needed.
• Respond to special requests and provide expert alteration guidance.
• Mark garments for tailoring and ensure precise fit.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to customer specifications.
• Maintain open dialogue with management and fellow team members.
• Keep the tailor shop clean, organized, and properly sized for customers.
