Jos. A. Bank, a division of Tailored Brands, is seeking a Retail Store Tailor — Alterations to assist customers, tailor garments, and ensure a perfect fit. You will mark, alter, press, and tailor menswear while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will have tailoring training or experience, strong sewing skills, and a collaborative attitude to help the team meet high standards and deliver great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a menswear tailor preferred.
• Good technical skill in alterations and sewing.
• Knowledge of various sewing equipment and techniques.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers throughout the selling and alteration process.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to achieve a customized fit.
• Ensure proper fit of garments and answer customer questions.
• Mark garments for tailoring and maintain pressing workflow.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized and support other team members.
