Job summary

Men's Wearhouse, a division of Tailored Brands, seeks a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to provide expert garment alterations and excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will mark, alter, and press garments, ensure proper fit, respond to customer requests, and support the team to keep the tailor shop organized and inviting. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered; DOE.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a menswear tailor highly preferred.
• Good technical skill with sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with special requests during the selling process.
• Mark, alter, and press garments to ensure fit and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure the proper fit of garments and answer customer questions.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press them as needed.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and help teammates.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized and assist sizing.
