Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Coaching and/or competitive playing experience in volleyball.
• Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, techniques, tactics, and team systems.
• Ability to work with college-aged students.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute to recruiting, student-athlete development, coaching, and program administration.
• Commitment to inclusion, academic achievement, and student-athlete welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assist in practices, training, and game ideas.
• Provide individual and small-group instruction in volleyball fundamentals.
• Offer technical instruction in serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, defense, and systems.
• Develop student-athletes’ tactical awareness and decision-making.
• Foster a positive, structured team culture and retention.
• Support academic progress and overall well-being of student-athletes.
• Mentor student-athletes regarding goals.
• Ensure sportsmanship and adherence to policies.
• Assist in program operations, scheduling, travel, and records.
• Assist with recruiting communications and visits.
• Support video analysis and scouting for opponent preparation.
• Provide feedback and support during practices and competitions.
