Job summary

You will assist the Head Coach in recruiting, practice planning, player development, and game-day operations, while promoting safety and academic success for student-athletes.

The role emphasizes mentorship, compliance with NCAA rules, and collaboration with staff to maintain high standards of performance and character.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Previous coaching and/or competitive playing experience in lacrosse.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with college-aged students.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute to recruiting, student-athlete development, and program administration.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing practices, training sessions, and competitive strategies.
• Provide instruction to support athletic development and performance.
• Support recruiting, campus visits, and relationships with high school coaches.
• Assist with scouting, game preparation, and film breakdown.
• Participate in travel, game-day operations, and team activities.
• Ensure safety, risk management, and adherence to NCAA/institution policies.
