Job summary

Kith, headquartered in New York—Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is seeking a production-minded leader for the Men’s team. The on-site, full-time Production Manager will drive on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality by collaborating with design, product development, merchandising, vendors and factories.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of experience in production, a strong understanding of the lifecycle, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Prior Men’s Apparel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full production lifecycle for assigned vendors.
  • Monitor and track purchase orders, production timelines, critical path milestones, ex-factory dates and deliverables.
  • Maintain up-to-date WIP reports to ensure production timelines are met.
  • Escalate issues or risks to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Manage bulk fabric and trims submissions and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Materials, QC & Logistics to resolve challenges.
  • Review cost sheets with Head of Production and lead vendor pricing negotiations.
  • Communicate approvals, changes and feedback to vendors.
  • Participate in fittings, collection pass-offs and seasonal reviews.
  • Review QC inspections and coordinate corrective actions with vendors.
  • Issue and update POs in ERP and maintain data integrity.
  • Maintain records of production status, vendor performance, and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze past production issues and implement improvements.
  • Review and approve TOP samples.
  • Support onboarding of new vendors.
  • Manage an associate/assistant.

Status: Full-time / 100% on-site
Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail oriented, proactive, and versatile Production Manager to join our Men’s team. This individual will ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and quality standards by collaborating closely with design, product development, merchandising, vendors, and factories. The ideal candidate needs a strong understanding of the production lifecycle, excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full production lifecycle for assigned vendors.

  • Monitor and track all purchase orders, production timelines, critical path milestones, ex-factory dates, and deliverables to avoid delays.

  • Maintain up‐to‐date WIP reports for all styles from all assigned vendors to ensure proper production timelines are being met.

  • Escalate issues or risks proactively to appropriate internal cross-functional teams.

  • Manage bulk fabric and trims submissions - track, review against approved SMS fabric and/or lab dips for color and handfeel, send approval/comments.

  • Work closely with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, Materials, 3rd party QC & Logistics to ensure alignment and to resolve challenges.

  • Review cost sheets with the Head of Production and lead pricing negotiations with vendors to meet margin goals.

  • Communicate approvals, changes, and feedback to vendors.

  • Participate in fittings, collection pass-offs, and seasonal reviews.

  • Review quality control inspections and work with vendor on corrective actions for bulk as needed.

  • Issue and update POs in our ERP system to ensure data integrity.

  • Maintain accurate records of production status, vendor performance, and delivery schedules.

  • Analyze past production issues and implement process improvements.

  • Review and approve TOP (Top of Production) samples.

  • Support the onboarding of new vendors as needed.

  • Manage an associate / assistant.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field of study preferred.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.

  • Prior Men’s Apparel experience is a plus.

Skills

  • Costing & negotiation experience is required.

  • Familiar with ERP/PLM systems, data maintenance, and data entry.
