Job summary

Penquis in Bangor, Maine, seeks a per-diem Group Facilitator for the Men’s Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP). The role is part-time with a hybrid schedule and approximately 4–10 hours weekly, including in-person or virtual groups and a 45-minute weekly supervision meeting.

You co-facilitate classes, follow state guidelines, complete documentation, and collaborate with the Program Coordinator to maintain program standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete state-approved domestic violence intervention training within the required timeframe.
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with a variety of people.
• Satisfactory background check required under contract provisions.
• Paid training for all required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate weekly in-person and virtual groups according to state guidelines and the state-approved domestic violence intervention model.
• Conduct classes according to the program curriculum and maintain established program standards.
• Complete required program documentation under the supervision of the Program Coordinator.
• Attend a 45-minute weekly supervision meeting with the team.
