Job summary

College of Lake County (CLC) in Grayslake, IL invites applications for a part-time Assistant Coach, Men's Basketball. The role supports the Head Coach in player development, training, performance analysis, and recruiting, while coordinating with the athletics staff to foster a positive, inclusive program.

Responsibilities include organizing drills, conducting individual and team instruction, game-day support, and helping with travel and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching or playing experience.
• Technical knowledge of the sport of basketball.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with practice sessions, including organizing drills and teaching skills.
• Providing individual and group instruction to players and developing training programs.
• Assisting with game strategy and preparation, and providing on-court guidance during games.
• Assisting with recruiting efforts, including scouting potential players and contacting them, and supporting athletes’ academic and personal development.
• Recording statistics, scheduling games and travel, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
