Job summary

Niuro seeks a Principal MEMS Development Engineer to lead design, simulation, and characterization of next-generation MEMS timing resonators. You will drive experiments, analyze device physics, and mentor teams onsite in Santa Clara, collaborating with circuits, systems, and packaging.

You will use COMSOL/ANSYS, MATLAB/Python for data analysis, and work closely with fabrication to improve yields and scalability of production devices.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant field and at least 3 years of industry experience (8+ preferred).
• Deep knowledge of MEMS device physics, mechanics, and thermo-electrodynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition, design, and execution of MEMS resonator projects.
• Characterize electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance at wafer and device levels.
• Collaborate with fabrication to improve MEMS yields and quality.
• Extend automated infrastructure for design, testing, and data analysis.
• Advise leadership on technical challenges and project impact.
• Interface with vendors and cross-functional teams including circuits, systems, and packaging.
