Job summary

ORAU is offering a MEMS research internship at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD. The internship focuses on developing advanced MEMS technologies used in Assured Positioning and Radio Frequency systems. Candidates should be pursuing an Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science degree and have strong lab experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Applied Physics.
• Foundational coursework in calculus, university physics, circuit theory.
• Experience with lab work in a work or school setting required.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers.
• Conduct research on MEMS technologies for PNT and RF systems.
• Maintain rigorous lab documentation and produce technical reports.
