Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse to fill a travel RN position in Memphis, TN. The assignment is a 13-week travel contract with a 36-hour work week, typically 12-hour day shifts.

The RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating and/or scrub nurse, with potential RN first assistant duties. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will support physicians and staff in the operating room, provide pre-/post-surgery care and patient education, and adapt to circulating, scrub, or RNFA

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, potentially RN first assistant.
• BLS certified and any additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Perform duties as circulating, scrub, or RN first assistant as assigned.
• Prepare instruments, monitor patient during surgery, and respond to complications.
