Job summary

Sentinel Health Services seeks a board-certified PM&R physician to conduct Compensation and Pension examinations for Veterans on a contract basis. You will operate from a commercial office with proper malpractice coverage and support a flexible schedule within approved facilities.

You will review medical records, perform physical assessments, and submit findings through the VA portal to support disability and pension claims.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / Physiatrist (PM&R) with active certification.
• Office must be at a commercial location with malpractice insurance.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Conduct a C&P Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Residuals examination
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim

We may make exceptions for jobs located in Montana and Oregon.

Contract Position to do Compensation, Pension and Disability Examinations

Requirements

• Must have your own OFFICE.
• Your Office Must be at a Commercial Location (Not Home Based)
• Must have Your Own Malpractice Insurance (Where You are the Named Insured)
• Must have Commercial Liability Insurance for Your Practice Location
• Must have 2 years of Clinical Experience
• Board Certification in PM&R

All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.

If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / ( Physiatrists ) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Psychologist.
• Design your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged). Availability of at least 3 to 7 days a month is preferred.
