Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking qualified clinicians to perform Compensation and Pension Examinations for Veterans at approved facilities. You must have a commercial office and your own malpractice insurance to participate.

This contract position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work within a growing team serving national veterans programs. Ideal candidates include those with Board Certification in PM&R or a Psychology license, and at least two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD/Physiatry PM&R or Psychologist.
• Own a commercial office location (not home-based).
• Maintain your own malpractice insurance.
• Have commercial liability insurance for your practice location.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• Board Certification in PM&R.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Conduct C&P TBI residuals examinations.
• Review digital medical records.
• Perform physical assessments for disability claims.

We may make exceptions for jobs located in Montana and Oregon.

Contract Position to do Compensation, Pension and Disability Examinations

Requirements

• Must have your own OFFICE.
• Your Office Must be at a Commercial Location (Not Home Based)
• Must have Your Own Malpractice Insurance (Where You are the Named Insured)
• Must have Commercial Liability Insurance for Your Practice Location
• Must have 2 years of Clinical Experience
• Board Certification in PM&R

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Conducting a C&P Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Residuals examination
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim

All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.

If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / ( Physiatrists ) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Psychologist.
• Design your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged). Availability of at least 3 to 7 days a month is preferred.
