Job summary

Sentinel Health Services is seeking a Provider to perform Compensation and Pension examinations for veterans. The role supports PM&R specialists and psychologists, with a flexible schedule and the option to design your own availability across the week, including weekends.

Exams occur at approved facilities with needed equipment and secure online submissions to VA. Must have clinical experience and malpractice coverage; board certification in PM&R is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / Physiatrist PM&R, or Psychologist.
• Willingness to design own schedule with weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans.
• Conduct a C&P Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Residuals examination.
• Review digital medical records thoroughly.
• Conduct physical assessments based on disability claims.
• Submit information through an online VA portal for review.
• Exams conducted at approved facilities with proper equipment.
• Offer flexible scheduling if you have an existing practice.

We are looking for candidates that live within a 50-mile radius of this jobs' location.

We may make exceptions for jobs located in Montana and Oregon.

Contract Position to do Compensation, Pension and Disability Examinations

Requirements

• Must have your own OFFICE.
• Your Office Must be at a Commercial Location (Not Home Based)
• Must have Your Own Malpractice Insurance (Where You are the Named Insured)
• Must have Commercial Liability Insurance for Your Practice Location
• Must have 2 years of Clinical Experience
• Board Certification in PM&R

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation and Pension Examinations on Veterans
• Conducting a C&P Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Residuals examination
• Complete a thorough review of digital medical records
• Conduct a physical assessment based on specific disability claims
• Submit information gathered through an online portal for the VA to review as part of a compensation/pension claim

All exams will take place at approved facilities with proper equipment and internet access provided.

If you have your own practice, you can conduct these exams with a flexible schedule that works with your current patient scheduling.

Qualifications

• Board Certified MD / ( Physiatrists ) Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Psychologist.
• Design your own schedule (7 days a week, weekends encouraged). Availability of at least 3 to 7 days a month is preferred.
