Job summary
The Hershey Company Memphis plant is seeking a Production Operator to support high-speed processing and packaging in a non-union environment. You will ensure food safety, sanitation, and accurate daily production records while rotating through roles in processing and packaging.
Qualified candidates possess a high school diploma or GED, can lift up to 50 lbs, and hold an Electric Pallet Jack license. Overtime, weekend work, and shift bidding are part of the role.
Qualifications
- Education: high school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience or training.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions.
- Basic arithmetic and reading comprehension are required.
- Electric Pallet Jack license is required to operate specific equipment.
Responsibilities
- Know and follow current good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
- Operate electric pallet jack and other equipment, monitor quality, speed, waste and weight.
- Perform daily audits and complete production paperwork as required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud environment.
