Job summary

Arkema Inc. in Memphis seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Mechanic to maintain and troubleshoot production and facility equipment. You will interpret diagrams, calibrate instrumentation, and ensure safe operation of electrical systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, read prints, and coordinate with vendors for capital projects. Strong field experience and safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with craft apprenticeship or journeyman license or equivalent electrical/instrumentation experience
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong electrical or instrumentation and industrial skills
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently
• Knowledgeable in virtually all electrical applications specific to the Memphis site

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and instrumentation equipment
• Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and drawings
• Perform preventive maintenance of motors, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and panels
• Operate lifting equipment and document maintenance in work orders
• Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors on capital project work
• Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
