Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and dementia.
• Must be qualified by experience and training to develop a robust calendar of programs for elders and persons living with dementia.
• Possesses current CPR if required.

Responsibilities

• Implements events and activities to enhance memory support and resident quality of life.
• Evaluates programs to ensure quality matches residents’ interests and abilities.
• Develops a seven-day-a-week activity program incorporating the six dimensions of wellness.
• Leads and coordinates one-on-one, small group, and large group activities.
• Produces monthly newsletters and calendars using Benchmark’s engagement app.
