Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living seeks a Programming Coordinator to coordinate, implement, and evaluate programs for residents with dementia, guided by the six dimensions of wellness. The role focuses on meaningful daily routines, engagement, and quality of life, reporting to the Programming Director or Mind & Memory Director.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of aging and dementia, and CPR if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aging/dementia.
• Experience designing programs for elders with dementia.
• CPR certification (if required).

Responsibilities

• Implements, coordinates, and evaluates memory-support activities for residents.
• Develops a 7-day, wellness-based activity program aligned to the six dimensions of wellness.
• Produces monthly newsletters and calendars; tracks participation.
