Job summary

Amazon Devices seeks a Global Commodity Manager for memory to secure our short- and long-term supply, partnering with engineering, legal and suppliers to drive cost, risk, and performance improvements across programs.

You will own AVL processes, lead supplier evaluations, and shape sourcing strategies from pre-concept through EVT/DVT, ensuring readiness for multiple product lines and global commercialization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive memory technology roadmap aligned with supplier capabilities and future trends.
• Manage relationships with memory suppliers, define AVL and lead supplier lifecycle from selection to negotiation and performance review.
• Analyze market drivers, pricing dynamics and risks to mitigate disruptions and capture opportunities.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives through value engineering and competitive sourcing; influence design decisions with engineering.
• Lead cross-functional reviews, assess sourcing needs, and coordinate supplier development and risk mitigation.
