Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing memory compilers or custom digital circuits (SRAMs, register-files, ROMs, etc.).
• Strong understanding of transistor-level circuit behavior and device physics.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, EM/IR, and reliability analysis.
• Familiarity with memory behavioral and physical models; DFT schemes and chip integration.
• Proficient in running simulators and writing automation scripts; tools savvy.
• Proficiency in Python is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Analyze memory architectures and tradeoffs.
• Design and build memory blocks at gate or transistor level.
• Simulate and analyze circuit design with transistor-level simulators.
• Extract layout and perform post-layout verification.
• Floorplan physical implementation and leafcell layout integration.
• Integrate characterization flow to extract timing and power information.
• Develop scripts to automate characterization, simulations, and verification.
• Specify and verify memory models (behavioral and physical).
• Document design specs, timing diagrams, and behavioral descriptions.
• Specify silicon test plans and correlate silicon to simulation data.
• Assist debugging silicon issues.
