Job summary

Mountain Park Memory Care Community is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide person-centered care for residents with memory loss in Clackamas County, OR. You will support ADLs, assist with meals, and help residents maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with seniors or individuals with dementia preferred.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Encourage socialization and engagement among residents through activities, games, and conversations.
• Assist with mealtime, including eating assistance and hydration.
• Monitor and report changes in resident behavior, mood, or condition to the healthcare team.
• Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices in dementia care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and activities.
