Preferred Care at Home of Apex, Garner, Fuquay-Varina in North Carolina is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support to individuals in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, and community programs. You will assist with daily living activities, memory care, meals, and mobility, always aiming to enhance comfort, dignity, and independence.

You will work closely with families and healthcare teams, observe changes, document reports, and follow established care

Qualifications

• Proven care experience
• Compassionate attitude and patience
• Ability to follow established care plans

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility per client needs
• Support memory care and safety for residents with Alzheimer's/dementia
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces and promote health
• Observe and report changes to healthcare professionals or families
• Use mobility equipment (e.g., Hoyer lifts) as required
• Follow care plans while providing emotional support and companionship
• Ensure safety standards, CPR/first aid knowledge applied
• Provide companionship, and accompany to appointments and errands
