Job summary

Preferred Care at Home of Apex, Garner, and Fuquay-Varina is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide exceptional support in home and community settings. You will help residents with daily activities, memory care, meal preparation, and transportation as needed, delivering care with professionalism and empathy.

Ideal candidates have experience in caregiving, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Proven care experience.
• Compassionate attitude and patience with seniors or individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support memory care needs (Alzheimer's/dementia) and maintain a safe environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces with light cleaning duties to promote a healthy environment.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions to healthcare professionals or family members.
