Job summary

Clearwater Living in Reno, NV, is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to join our premier senior living community. You will assist residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity and independence, following care plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR/ BLS certification required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health requirements, including TB, must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Assist and encourage residents in daily living activities and respond to needs promptly and kindly.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care, including managing oxygen tanks per MD orders.
• Transport residents as necessary, assisting in and out of bed and wheelchairs; escort to meals/activities.
• Clean, complete laundry, and assist with other community duties as required.
• Chart and document information, including incident reports, and report changes to a supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts, carrying radios and reacting to emergencies as needed.
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe operations.
• Maintain a positive, professional image and wear proper uniform and name tag.
• Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification

Background clearances as required by government regulations

Must meet health requirements, including TB
