Job summary

Clearwater Living at Rancharrah in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity. You will follow care plans, assist with mobility, monitor health, and respond to needs in a compassionate, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a Caregiver or in related field preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred; CPR/BLS/First Aid required.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Assist and encourage residents in their daily living activities and respond to needs promptly and kindly.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care is given, including oxygen management per MD orders.
• Transport residents safely using proper lifting and transferring techniques.
• Escort residents to meals, activities, etc., as requested or assigned.
• Handle laundry and assist with other community duties as required.
• Chart and document information and report changes to a supervisor immediately.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies.
• Adhere to Clearwater Living standards and maintain professional appearance.
• Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
