Job summary

Clearwater Living in Reno is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents in daily living activities while preserving dignity and safety. The role includes reading care plans, assisting with oxygen needs per physician orders, and transporting residents as required.

Morning and evening shifts are available. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Assisted Living Caregiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, and clear background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Certified Assisted Living Caregiver Certification is required.
• First Aid and CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety checks on residents.
• Assist and encourage residents in daily living activities and respond promptly and kindly.
• Read and follow care plans to ensure proper care, including MD orders for oxygen as needed.
• Transport residents safely using proper transfer techniques and escort to meals/activities as requested.
• Clean, complete laundry, and assist with community activities and duties.
• Document information and incident reports; inform supervisor of any changes.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts and emergencies; carry radios as needed.
• Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations; support safe operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and the proper uniform; embody company values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
