Job summary

Silverado St.Charles is hiring caregivers to support residents living with Alzheimer's and dementia. You will provide hands-on daily living assistance, build trusting relationships, and help create a safe, engaging environment.

This full-time PM shift (Wednesday–Sunday) offers competitive pay between $19 and $21 per hour and a benefits package including 401(k) matching, health, dental and vision coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or related conditions preferred.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communication in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
