Job summary

Silverado is hiring Caregivers in California to support residents living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory impairments. You will provide compassionate daily living assistance, build meaningful relationships, and ensure a safe, engaging environment.

This full-time PM shift offers a stable schedule and opportunities for growth. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, good English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, etc.).
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members
• Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment
• Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team
