Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care in Ramsey, MN is seeking part-time CAREGIVER or CNA to join our Memory Care and Senior Living Community. Weekend shifts (every other) AM or PM, with four-day training at Arden Hills. CNA or caregiving experience preferred; HS diploma required; CPR beneficial.

The role involves medication assistance, mobility support, personal care, meal prep with dietary input, light housekeeping, and companionship, in a memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Must pass medications (training provided).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver (CNA/HHA/PCA/RA/NAR).
• CNA Certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care and Med Passing highly preferred.
• Must have excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR).
• Must be respectful and compassionate and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
