Job summary

Barathaven Memory Care, part of the AgeWell Solvere Living family, is seeking a Wellness Associate (Caregiver) to provide compassionate care and support to residents with dementia and other conditions in a safe, engaging environment.

The role reports to the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager, delivering personalized services per the Resident Service Plan and collaborating with a dedicated team to maintain high-quality care and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Capable of maintaining positive relationships with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility).
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with orders.
• Assist with shift coverage and onboarding of new wellness staff.
• Respond to emergencies, provide first aid and arrange follow-up care.
• Help residents with meals, laundry, and light housekeeping as needed.
