Job summary

Vivo Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Memory Care Unit of a 120-bed skilled nursing facility. You will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure high-quality resident care, supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• Experience with dementia or memory care strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Memory Care unit in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Ensure quality resident care compliant with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate resident care plans and clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care planning and documentation.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives.
