Aventura at the Bay is seeking a compassionate Memory Care Unit Director to lead our memory care community. This leadership role oversees all aspects of the memory care program, ensuring resident-centered care and regulatory compliance for residents living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN), or other healthcare leadership experience as permitted by state regulations.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in memory care.
• Strong knowledge of dementia care best practices and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for providing compassionate, person-centered care.
• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Unit.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care programs.
• Supervise, mentor, and support memory care staff through ongoing training and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations.
• Partner with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care.
• Plan and oversee therapeutic activities that promote resident engagement and quality of life.
• Monitor quality assurance initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and departmental performance.
