Job summary

Sodalis Senior Living in Tampa, FL, is seeking a Resident Assistant for Memory Care to provide direct care and support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and engagement, while upholding the community's service philosophy and quality of life goals.

You will maintain health records, assist with meals, lift up to 50 lbs, train new staff, and communicate with team leaders and families. Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's is a plus; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's in Memory Care is a plus.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and activities of daily living to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and engagement.
• Maintains health and wellness records for residents in paper and electronic format.
• Performs daily household tasks per shift task list, including laundry and housekeeping.
• Prepares and serves meals as needed and assists residents with meals.
• Reports concerns or needs to management.
• Trains and mentors new staff members.
• Attends mandatory meetings.
• Communicates with Team Leader, Health and Wellness Director, and Management regarding changes in residents’ condition.
• Communicates with family members and greets visitors; provides marketing tours in management's absence.
• Reports abuse or neglect of residents as required by law.
