Job summary

Insight Memory Care Center is hiring a Recreation Assistant to support participants with dementia in day programs. The role includes leading activities across group sizes, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting recovery-focused, person-centered care in a collaborative team setting.

The RA will contribute to a safe, engaging environment and coordinate with a director-level supervisor to ensure high-quality programming and participant well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Music, Art, or Speech Therapy (or related field) preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities for participants in large and small groups and individually to meet psycho-social needs.
• Assist participants with activities of daily living at the center.
• Foster a team-focused environment and practice Person Centered Care for all participants.
