Job summary

Palmilla Senior Living in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Memory Care QMA to assist nursing staff and coordinate resident needs. You will help residents with dressing, bathing, hygiene, and grooming, and ensure beds are made and trash is managed.

You will monitor and document medication administration per facility rules and communicate health questions to supervisors as required.

This role supports memory care residents in a community focused on quality care and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state required med passing certification.
• CPR certification and/or first aid certification preferred.
• Follow state regulations and Sonida Senior Living policies.

Responsibilities

Memory Care QMA Responsibilities

• This Memory Care QMA will assist the nursing department with caring, coordinating, and managing the needs of the residents at the community and act within the State Regulations and Sonida Senior Living Policies and Procedures.
• To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming. To help make beds and empty trash.
• To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established facility policies and procedures. To properly document medication provision, services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition.
• To follow instructions given by supervisor and communication with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as necessary

• Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA, CMA, or state required med passing certification and must maintain current and unencumbered certifications
